Meet Our Staff

Natasha Hayes

Natasha is the owner and manager of Caterpillar Kids and has over 10 years’ experience in the childcare sector. Natasha holds a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education as well as First Aid Response (FAR) Training. Natasha has always loved working with children and is thrilled to bring Caterpillar Kids to Parteen and the surrounding areas.

Miriam Kiely

Miriam Kiely is the deputy manager and full day preschool room leader in Caterpillar Kids. Miriam has over 15 years experience working with children in various childcare settings as well as working as a manager in a large creche for the past 8 years. Miriam holds her BA in Early Childhood Care and Education and has a vast knowledge of working in the early years.

Fiona Fagan

Fiona is a preschool educator at Caterpillar Kids and she is from Dublin. She holds her BA in Early Childhood Education and childcare and she has over 10 year's experience working in the sector. She loves arts and crafts, getting creative with the kids and she's a big fan of messy play as well!

Sandra Berty

Sandra is an afterschool educator at Caterpillar Kids and she has been working with children as a childminder for the last number of years. She enjoys playing games, arts and crafts, and dramatic play! She also loves singing and dancing, and organises karaoke competitions for all the children on a regular basis!

Leilane Pereira De Franca

Leilane Pereira De Franca moved to Ireland from Brazil where she has many years experience working with school age children and teenagers. Lei is qualified to degree level in Psychology with a special interest in child psychology and has worked in various settings over the last 5 years. Lei is very creative and works as an educator in our afterschool group.

Catherine Colbert

Catherine works in the kitchen cooking our food for the gang. Catherine has previously worked in kitchens in Mary I and other catering departments, and holds her HACCP food safety qualification. Catherine is patient and kind, and she loves working with the kids in preschool and afterschool, encouraging them to eat their yummy food!

Kate Quin

Kate works in the mornings in our afterschool breakfast club and in our ECCE only session. Kate has been with Caterpillar Kids for one year and has been working in childcare for the past 6 years. Kate holds her level 5 qualification in childcare as well as a level 6 in special needs assisting. Kate loves to work with both our preschool and school age children as she has a passion for both groups! She is very kind and attentive, patient and loving and is a big kid herself at heart. She can always be found running around in the yard with the kids or getting stuck into games in the classroom!

Catherine Carmody

Catherine works in the mornings as an educator in our full day preschool classroom. Catherine has been with the service for a year now but has over 16 years experience working in the childcare sector. Catherine holds her level 6 qualification in childcare among many others such as fire safety, children protection, first aid, food safety and arts and crafts for children. Catherine loves working with pre-school age children and is very creative, loving and kind - her favourite thing to do is break out the crafts and get stuck into art activities!

Michelle O'Sullivan

Michelle works in the mornings in our ECCE only session as an AIM educator as part of the Access and Inclusion Model which supports children with additional needs to fully participate in the session. Michelle has worked in childcare for the past two years and has been with us since September 2023. Michelle holds her level 5 qualification in childcare along with Lámh (a sign language communication tool for pre-school children) first aid and child protection training. Michelle is patient, cheerful, imaginative and resourceful. She loves to come up with new ideas to support each child at their own stage of learning and is very dedicated to the kids in her care.
